The EU Information Point offers as well as responds to any requests for information, regarding the EU and Kosovo’s accession process, through the provision and distribution of information as well as the organization of various informative, educational and cultural events.
Objectives of the EU Info Point:
Increase awareness and knowledge in Kosovo about the European Union
Increase understanding of Kosovo’s European integration process
Improve knowledge about EU’s financial assistance that aid Kosovo’s development
Improve understanding of the role of the EC Liaison Office to Kosovo
What does the Info Point offer?
A reception area
A reading corner can host up to 4 visitors and offers EC documentation
A special corner presenting the EU Member State holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union
A newspaper reading corner, with local newspapers and international magazines
A library area where visitors can find books, articles and EU publications
An internet corner hosting PC with direct links into EUROPA websites
A constant stream of Euro News
A meeting room which hosts up to 10 persons
A media center which hosts up to 20 persons
What are the rules for visitors?
Brochures and leaflets are provided free to all visitors
Newspapers, journals and magazines can be read only within the Centre
Books can be read only within Centre premises
Internet use is limited up to 60 minutes per person
Photocopying of materials is allowed up to 10 pages per person
CDs and other audio-visual materials may be used only with the permission
Maintennaing quitness and respect of other visitors privacy is required
No smoking is permitted at the EUIP premises
